pH probes
The sensors of the pH-probe provide the measurement data for the response of the control loop.
An electric potential is generated across a glass membrane, which is proportional to the concentration of H+-ions in the solution. With the help of a reference electrode, a difference in electrostatic potential is developed. The measured voltage correlates linearly with the actual pH-value.
