Paddle impellers

Paddle stirrers are used to mix bioreactors and are particularly useful for cells and microorganisms that are sensitive to shear forces. There are also advantages in the cultivation of adherent cells and usage of micro carriers because of the prevention of sedimentation to the bottom of the vessel. Paddle stirrers are available with fixed or adjustable angles.
