Bioreactor and fermenter exhaust contains components, which give information about status and processes inside the cultivation vessel. The CO2-content is directly linked with mammal cell’s respiratory activity while O2-content proves photosynthetic activity in phototrophic cultures. These gas concentrations can additionally be used to calculate factors like the respiration coefficient of all kinds of microorganism cultures.

Expand your biosystem’s opportunities!
Correct gassing is crucial for successful cultivation of every microorganism. But the requirements strongly vary from species to species: aerobic bacteria are supplied with intense oxygen and/or air feed, which additionally ensures good mixing, while mammal cells demand for very sensitive processing. Lithotrophic specialists, who live on ammonia or hydrogen sulphide, are very precisely fed with gas to prevent media turning due to overfeed.
Many new approaches or changed objectives result in similar challenges: does your bioreactor or fermenter not have gassing opportunities with mass flow controllers (MFCs) or automatic valves to fulfil current demands? Our autarchic xCUBIO gas mix station expands your installations with easiest methods.

Steam Generators for Clean Steam Supply
The steam generators were developed in cooperation with ARA-Service Detlef Mohnke, who his experienced supplier of the whole biotechnology sector and who concentrates on supply and services for autoclaves of all scales. The steam generators have been engineered based on his technology and do now supply fermentors / bioreactors, autoclaves and other systems with clean steam.
