The automatic, aseptic sampling from bioreactors and fermenters is the key to the integration of sophisticated analytical devices into bioprocess automation. But the integration can only really be named Atline-Anylsis, if the cultivation system’s sterility is ensured and if reproducable samples can be taken over longer batch periods. bbi presents its current results in the Atline-integration of the sampling system bioPROBE within a lecture on this year’s congress “Berliner Industrie 4.0”, which takes place in the HTW Berlin on Oct. 09. 2015. Background of the lecture is the German Industrie 4.0 directive, which aims on general process automation solutions, while the whole biotech industry and especially bioPROBE have already done quite a path on their way to complete process automation.
